Some local folks fished a 3/4 day on the KK today. Steve and Lisa brought some family and friends with them on a really nice day (finally) and the tunas were biting. There were a lot of boats on the Islamorada hump but it only slowed the bite down a little. Since I didn't hear much from the guys offshore we went back to a color change we passed in 280 ft and spent the remainder of the time trying to connect to a sailfish. There were sails there and we had 3 opportunities but unfortunately we didn't connect.
Everyone had a good time and Steve is planning a return trip in the near future.
