10/24/2016 0 Comments Good Eats Limited out on the vermillon snapper today along with a couple margates and a large porgy. We also had a couple opportunities a sailfish but could not keep them stuck. CP and Trish were down for a few days enjoying the sun and spending a little time with my wife Pati and the rest of the KK crew.

10/23/2016 0 Comments An Hour and a Half later Haven't fished in Whale harbor channel in almost a month so I wasn't sure what to expect in the way of sharks or tarpon last evening but I didn't expect a lot of bull sharks. After the first couple went thru our mono we switched to wire and it was game on. Anthony and Joe fought this one for well over and hour and even had to ask for a little help from the "old"guys at the end.
No tarpon bites but we did catch some other sharks and kept everyone busy until the tide quit and the bite stopped. All in all a beautiful evening on the water. 10/22/2016 0 Comments Patrick and the Grouper Half day today with Scott, Lisa and their two boys. Yellowtailing conditions were not good with current into the wind and clear water so we bounced the bottom catching kings, jacks and bonitos. Patrick caught a nice red grouper while we were doing that and then we flew the kite for a hour or so but didn't see the sails like we did yesterday.
10/21/2016 0 Comments WE ARE BACK After 20 days of travel we got back last night and started right in this morning. Joe and his relatives are from Chicago (Go Cubs) and were out for a 3/4 day today and will do an evening trip with us tomorrow.
1st fish of the day was the mahi and and I was hoping that there would be more coming down the reef but that was the only one we saw. Caught about 20 yellowtail and saw a sail in a bait shower that wouldn't eat. After trying a few other things we put out a kite with a couple baits and toward the end of our time up came two sails. We lost the 1st one pretty quickly but the other one stayed glued and we were able to get him up close to the boat for pictures. We had a great trip up north but it is good to be back and fishing again! 10/8/2016 0 Comments Flying High in Ohio After flying to PA we drove to Ohio and spent some quality time wit my brother and sister in law. We traveled from there to southern Ohio and spent a couple days with our good friends
10/8/2016 0 Comments Fly Fishing for Salmon My wife and I are on vacation for a couple weeks and happened upon this stream in upstate NY. Looked like the 1st day of trout fishing in PA. Saw one fish get hooked up but he pulled the hook just before he could net him. Glad that never happens on the KK.
