The tuna bite wasn't as good for us as yesterday's but a couple mahi showed up while we were catching them and we put them in the box with our tunas. We did go looking for more mahi and I got out to 18 miles or so but just couldn't spend all day hoping to find them knowing they have been scarce the last few days. The vermillons were biting again today along with a couple AJs so we ended up once again with a very satisfying rack of fish at days end.
Mike is a Oklahoma transplant to the keys and he brought along Morgan and her grandpa from Oklahoma on their first ocean fishing trip. They said they had an awesome time and would love to do it again soon.
