Bait was difficult in the morning and we only caught a few ballyhoo to start the day. After catching a couple mackerels and a couple large yellowtails we went back inshore and tried catching the ballyhoos again with much better results.
I had talked to another captain that told me he had a sailfish that came up on his baits while he was on a wreck but didn't eat so I decided to go to the wreck with my fresh ballyhoo and see if that sail was still in the area. Half an hour later we had the sail in the boat for pictures.
Jessica, her new husband and family members were in the keys for their wedding and we hope they will return to fish with us again someday.
