We did a few other things before trying for the shark and caught a variety of fish including kingfish, vermillon, red, silk and mutton snapper, grouper, porgies, almaco jacks and amberjack. Finally ending up at the hump where on our 1st drop we hooked this 200 lb sandbar shark. It took Steve about 45 minutes to get it to the boat, we got some pictures, released it and watched it happily swim away.
Another gorgeous day on the water with very light winds and hardly a ripple on the water. What a great weather month February has been!
