Yesterday we had a great catch of yellowtails. Today we had a full day and our group wanted to try mahi fishing and yellowtail as a back up plan. Obviously we didn't have to go to plan "B".
Finding our first few fish on a rope at 14 miles and then 6 more on a piece of bamboo, things were starting out pretty well. An hour or so later at 18 miles I found a stump that was loaded and we finished our day there, catching close to 30 heavy lifters and gaffer size mahi.
Dominic and his friends did a great job in heavy seas and we will be seeing them again soon!
