We almost didn't go today as the rain was falling and the wind was blowing this morning as we got to the bait patch. We were discussing whether to continue on or head back when the rain quit and the clouds parted, so off we went.
It was was best mahi fishing I've seen so far this year with set after set of schoolies. We had to pick out the bigger fish from each school but by 11:00 we were very close to our limit of 30 fish. We did find a final school that was almost all heavy lifters but by then we only need a few to reach our limit.
Mark, Mary and Bobby did an outstanding job today and we look forward to fishing with them again soon.
