It happens. Every once in a while the sailfish don't bite and yesterday was one of those days.
Jeff and Lori really wanted to catch a sail but after spending most of the morning trying it was time to do something else. We brought in the kites and ran off shore where the yellow eyes and vermillion snapper were biting. Caught our limit of snapper along with an AJ and a few other species.
I heard of 1 sail caught in town yesterday so although we struck out on the sails we ended up with a nice catch of great eating fish.
