The wind dropped off some today and we were able to finally able to get Randy and Joanne out fishing. They have been patiently waiting since Monday for the wind to come down and were rewarded with some pretty good fishing.
The yellowtails didn't cooperate in the morning and it was a pick on the tunas at the hump but the vermillion snapper were thick and the yellowtails started biting on the bottom later in the day along with jacks, muttons and a wayward kingfish.
Randy and Joanne were super happy with the catch today and plan on fishing with us again when they get back to the keys.
