There wasn't a captain out there today that didn't think it was extremely rough this morning, the wind was cranking around 20 knots, the current was running into it at 2.5 knots and not a day for the faint of heart.
I did not sugarcoat it, explaining to Dan and his family at the dock what to expect but a "we're game" response was what I got to my warning. They did great with only Garret succumbing to the sickness, the rest had a great time catching over 30 mahi (one 20 lb fish) and a tuna fish for Travis. Excellent anglers and sailors in very difficult conditions.
