I tried a couple times, questioning Chris on his decision to fish today but still believing it would not be too bad on the water today despite the 25 knot wind out of the west. I just wanted him to know he could back out if he wanted but he still wanted to go and it turned out well.
To start we caught our limit of yellowtails on an awesome bite at crocker reef and we did not lose one to the sharks. Pulled the wahoo lures to the vermillon snapper spot and caught our limit of those, worked our way back toward crocker where we put our kites out and sailfish for the last 45 minutes or so. Excellent snapper fishing on a not so nice day.
