Today we started our course offshore for another epic adventure of mahi fishing. The plan was to end the trip with a little yellowtail snapper fishing. As we all know how plans can change. We got out to the 700 foot area and caught a couple undersized fish , and some bad weather approached us which called for decision making. I spoke with the crew and we decided to avoid the bad weather and fish the reef. The snappers bit very well and we caught our limit. The crew took some of the catch to Bayside Gourmet in Islamorada to be cooked and absolutely loved it.
