Betty has been running this program for many years and a lot of ladies have gotten to go fishing for a day, been tutored by various captains for a day and fish a final day where they get to utilizes all that new information. It's definitely a nice program for these ladies and today was the first day for this year.
We took a vote and they decided that we would stay on the reef and catch snapper instead of running off shore to look for the mahi. It worked out as the sharks left us alone long enough to catch almost 20 yellowtails and we were able to get some of the big vermillon snapper before the cudas started eating them on the way up..
Thanks ladies see you again next year!
