9/7/2017 9 Comments IrmaTwo days and counting until Irma arrives. I feel good about the KK, she is deep in a mangrove canal with a dozen lines attached to her and the trunks of mangroves. There is probably 25 charter boats tied up back in this creek and we all hope to come through this with just some minor damage. The house is as secure as I can make it and we are leaving the keys to ride it out farther inland.
I will post after the storm and hopefully be back fishing in a week or so. Captain Don

Just checking in and hoping the Kay K IV survived the storm like a champ and y'all make it back safely. As soon as you're back up and fishing, the Atlanta crew will look for dates to come down since May seas were a little ugly. Maybe we can catch another Sail, although preferably not in the eye this time. Take care and hoping for the best for y'all.

We keep checking in, in hopes for good new that you, your family and the boat are doing well and escaped Irma with nothing more than a few scratches. Since our trip to the keys was cancelled due to the hurricane we hope to get in touch and set up something for late winter early spring and do a make -up trip! Hoping the messages finds you well! We wish the keys the best as they rebuild
