Bev had the rod when the tarpon bit and he handed it off to Rubin for him to catch. Half an hour later and some heart stopping close calls with boat traffic Rubin was able to get his 1st tarpon up next to the boat for the official catch. His brother Toby was cheering him on the whole time reminding him that just because Rubin's tarpon was bigger than any Toby had caught it was OK because it is numbers not size that is important. What a great family that we have been fortunate to get to know and fish with. They go back to the UK on Monday and will return next year to fish again.
