Ken and Dillon came down from Tampa to do a little mahi fishing. We started the day at a grass patch in eighteen feet of water catching cigar minnows so we'd have some live bait. After that we set forth on our journey and headed offshore. We found a few keepers in about six hundred and fifty feet , then nothing else out to sevenfifty. So I came back in and worked our way down a weed line in six hundred where we found some more fish. there wasn't the mother load ,but I'm hoping this is the start of a good season. Ken, Dillon and my mate Jeff did an excellent job using a variety of baits to catch these fish.
