Yesterday we had a 40 lb mahi. Today we caught one 35 lbs.
I was pretty sure that I wasn't going past 600 ft today because the fish just haven't been in the deep water. I started trolling around 300 ft where a couple boats were finding fish and got out to about 12 miles before turning back towards shore. We found a great school of fat schoolies in 400 ft of water and the big one in 350.
My crew did pretty well today although towards the end of the day we had 4 out of 5 not feeling well. Congratulations to Christine, Brian and their kids from York, Pa for catching a great fish and all the terrific cooperation in the schoolies wars.
