Started out catching a few nice big yellow tail at e marker but after 6 or 7 fish they shut down. We could see them but they refused to bite.
My next move was to the tarpon hole where the bite once again started slow but again nice fish. It was getting late in the day so a lot of boats that were fishing the same area begin to leave and as that occurred the fish started biting a lot better.
Think we ended up with close to 20 tails. Ivy (the Bahamian nanny) had plans for whole baked yellow tail so I only filleted a few of the bigger fish and scaled the rest.
Beautiful weather and good fishing, it gets no better.
