We had 20 mahi at 9 o'clock and 35 by 11 o'clock which made everyone very happy, including the captain. Caught a few more to make it 40 and then went into the hump where the yelloweye and vermillon snappers were biting. The current was very light and the predators were letting us get most of the snappers to the boat, nice to be able to fish the hump again without getting eaten up.
Great family from Texas, Todd, Raquel, Lauren, Halley, Dillon and Grant, did a great job down there in the pit, kept things straight and listen well, that's all you can ask. See you next year folks!
