Followed a weed line at 18 miles and saw 5 mahi, none of which wanted to be caught. That was how the beginning of the day went and so switching gears we caught a few skipjacks and did some deep dropping. The last place I stopped had some full grown vermillon snapper on it and we did catch a number of them while they were biting.
We have come to the end of the summer season and it's been a good one for the KKIV. Thanks to everyone that has fished with us and those that just follow my fishing reports. I'm am sure I will see a lot of you again next year.
Because we have slowed down my fishing reports will be a little spotty but I will try to keep you informed as to what is going out there.
This is Captain Dave keeping you updated on our recent fishing adventures
