Hooked this tarpon up at the very end of the evening, in fact I had the engines running while Dave made a last drift. He took a lot of line to start and it took us a minute to get the anchor up, so by the time we started back on him he had gone on the shallow side of one of the markers and I couldn't get around it because of the skinny water. I sent Dave to the top of the tower with the rod and we were able to get the line up and over the channel marker and then able to follow the fish down the channel where we caught him. It was all pretty exciting and Megan will always remember her 1st tarpon caught on the KK.
We also caught a few sharks and had a couple more tarpon on during the evening but the last one was the best one.
