The wahoo bite has been on the last couple of days and wanting to get in on it we trolled down past the light, thru the areas that have been holding them, spent enough time at it that I thought we should have a least a bite, but nothing, so we went to plan "B".
Tried a couple wrecks, caught a few small jack but we were still really struggling. At the next spot we started to get bites, missing the first few, then caught a red grouper, followed by large black grouper, (both out of season but a least we were catching fish), next was a couple kings and then the sailfish ate. Caught him put the wahoo gear out and 10 minutes later caught this 32 lb wahoo. Stress is gone, everyone is happy and the sun is shining. How quickly things can change!
