6/5/2021 0 Comments Wing the YoungersBrian had his hands full this afternoon with scuba class for two of his boys and an evening trip planned for his other two and their friends so we were very happy to help him out and take Patrick, Henry, Cooper and Ryan on the evening charter. A good time was had by all as we caught a bunch of sharks including this 100 lb blacktip.

6/5/2021 0 Comments Still Very Happily MarriedJohn and Shane got married on our boat a couple years ago and today they fished with us. Once again it was fairly windy and bouncy but they handled it well with John doing most of the catching with Shane's support. We caught our limit of mahi, a few blackfin tuna and a couple vermillon snapper for variety. They will be back in ten days to fish with us again, hopefully on a less windy day! 6/4/2021 0 Comments Father and SonI didn't think we were going to make a full day of it today as Josh started getting seasick soon after we left the reef but much to my surprise (and his dad's as well) he never tossed in the towel. It took us a while but we were able to catch our limit of mahi by the end of the day along with four tunas and a skipjack.
I'm glad it worked out for this duo as they usually go out on the headboats from Canaveral or Tampa and this was a special trip for the father and son team. Good to have them on board and hopefully they will be able to fish with us again. 6/3/2021 0 Comments Rain and More RainBill and his family got more than the weathermen had predicted today both with wind and rain. They hung in there though and were rewarded with some nice fat mahi and one that was around 14 lbs. We also caught a couple tunas so they could enjoy a nice tuna appetizer this evening. Enjoyed our day with them and hope to see that back on the KK again soon. 6/2/2021 0 Comments Big VermillonsThe mahi bite was just OK today and since we caught a bunch with these guys yesterday and they wanted to try deep dropping we did a little mahi catching and then went to find some bottom fish. We caught 8 verms but unfortunately pulled off the same number part way to the surface. Also caught a few other things , small groupers, red porgies and blackfin snapper that didn't make the cut.
We had a great time with these guys and hope to see them again soon. 6/1/2021 0 Comments Back To the MahiThe learning curve was more like a mountain today as we got into our first school of mahi. I actually turn my back on the chaos and gave up for a few minutes as thing went from bad to worse. We caught some of those first fish and surprisingly each mahi encounter from there on got better and better to the point where I almost forgot the mayhem that had occured at the start. We ended up with over 30 mahi, one tuna and we get to do it all over again with Bubba and this group again tomorrow. Hopefully there won't be any short term memory loss.
